
You’ve most likely been listening to lots about threats to public lands in latest weeks, as Congress has been debating whether or not or to not dump federally owned land to the states. Effectively, Kirk Deeter of Angling Trade has some fairly sturdy opinions about this concept:
[W]hat units the American angler aside from nearly some other on the planet is that we’ve hundreds of thousands of acres and hundreds of miles of fishable streams (and lakes) which can be out there to us as a birthright. I’ve fished all around the globe and have loved each minute of doing so. However what makes my soul crammed with pleasure is the belief that, as an American, I share possession, and have entry to extra locations than anybody individual would possibly endeavor to fish in a lifetime.
